Integrated Trade Finance is pleased to announce that Dr. Robert Connolly has come on board as our Director for Southeast Asia. Robert is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Bob’s credentials include an EdD in Leadership, an MBA in International Business and Finance, and a master’s degree in International Affairs. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska (USA), Dr. Connolly moved to Vietnam in 2004. He now assists ITF clients from abroad to enter Southeast Asian markets with a focus on Vietnam. He also assists Vietnamese companies to expand abroad and to take on investment and/or strategic partners. Bob teaches Business and Finance classes at several universities.
He has worked in several industries including Mortgage Banking, Electronics Manufacturing, and Education. He has experience in project management, financial modeling, business unit reviews and budgeting, consulting, international business and market development. Besides Vietnam, he has also worked in Ireland, Mexico, Hong Kong, China, Europe and Russia.
Robert was recently named as Chairman of the Education and Training Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam.
